Primech AI: HYTRON, the Autonomous Restroom-Cleaning Robot
Primech AI, the group’s 51 percent-owned robotics subsidiary, develops HYTRON, an autonomous restroom-cleaning robot that combines AI perception with a six-axis arm to scrub, disinfect, rinse and dry toilet bowls, squat toilets, urinals, wash basins, countertops, mirrors and floors, about 40 fixtures per charge. Independent laboratory testing in September 2025 recorded more than 99.9 percent bacterial reduction. In commercial service in Singapore under multi-year leases and deployed in Hong Kong and Macau, with distribution partners in South Korea, Greater China and Europe and U.S. market entry through Primech USA.
